I also think that a discount card will be a fantastic idea - players would spend longer in the bar on a saturday and be more likely to visit other than on matchdays. Linking to payment of membership would also help get the subs in quicker (and maybe get more members).
I don't know about anybody else, but the only reason I go in Varsity is that they give me 25% off all my drinks!

The card would need some photo ID to stop people abusing the system, but could be issued when subs are paid. If the person chooses not to use it, then that's their problem. |
