In a rare occasion the Colts beat their opposition by a bigger margin than the Beests, and a fine second half performance it was too. Champagne rugby was on offer in the outer, wind-blown Serengeti today too!! 6 tries and the normal kicking success rate of 1!

The Burton match report is finally up. Here's an excerpt.

Despite the Burton forwards holding their own Derby added two more tries plus an penalty to cruise into a comfortable lead that Burton never looked like catching. At the end of the day the ease with which Derby won will hopefully stir these young crofters to get training and put in some preparation for the County Cup Final, or else this will be another Burton side that has failed to hold the trophy for more than one year.

The full report can be found at http://www.burtonrugbyclub.co.uk/Teams/Colts/Reports05/DerbyH.html

Don't go getting C5W too excited Jackal, he'll be wanting to play in the backs next!!

Keeping some in reserve for Wednesday I guess Jackal. A good idea methinks.

Here the Chello boys had decent run outs??

Is it me or does that Tom Swainston turn like a tanker? Glad to hear you've got Dan Walker involved.

Sounds like C5W is a top contender for captain of the year if he keeps this level of performance from his squad...

The Beests just settled fro a steady victory to allow the other teams in the club to shine!!!

never confused! I am not a forward!

Oh so my services are required once more? I'll have a think if it's worthy of my efforts. Remember I came off so half of it will be a different story..

By the way, Charlie only scored that first try because I was there to drive the minature maul forwards

Also, we won because the team took inspiration from me

Can we have the rough guide match report please Dickie.

Sounds like 7 sets of fresh (1st team quality?) legs would have contributed to your second half score!
sadam Posted - 26 February 2006 : 14:42:32
As the Beeests had a much better first half than second, perhaps we should pool our resources!
Jon Tiz Posted - 26 February 2006 : 13:53:45
Yup! A top effort, especially in the 2nd half. Cracking performances all over the savannah!!!
