Shock horror!

I have been informed that from this weekend onwards no after match meal will be provided free to home players, only to visitors. I believe you can buy a meal for £2 however.

I guess this is consistent with most other clubs at our level and players have been lucky to have had this perk for the last few years.

If you wish to moan about this, don't do it to me!

Who would have thought it???... Jackal..."the voice of reason". Very well put. Can I have peanut butter?

Refereeeeee
The Jackal Posted - 25 October 2006 : 09:15:09

Now that everyones got that off their chests, lets try to take a few steps forward!!!!

Although it was a very nice picnic, it was only intended to highlight the miscommunication of information between parties = NOW RESOLVED

I feel members appreciates the massive efforts everyone makes to make the club successful. = Still COULD BE IMPROVED!! WATCH THIS SPACE

The £2 issue and quality is currently up for discussion. There is no profit element to this so as long as suggestions fall within the cost they can be offered. Possibility of putting together a rota of meals. = TALK TO ME AND I CAN GET IT SORTED QUICKER

Anyone who wants to whinge, please come and see me... I will listen and then pass on concerns, if its a load of bol@ox then i'll give you an immediate response

Finally,
Its in the past now and can't be changed. Lets move on and focus on crushing a Grasshopper or two and then enjoying some hearty food afterwards. Just before the mighty band bang out some timeless classics - TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FROM JOE MILLS

Is this food for home players only, or can injured hangers-on also part with £2 of their hard earned for after match fodder (it'll be cheaper than buying a hoagie and curly fries!)

£7 for a home game, I don't think curly fries is too much to ask for.
Jon Tiz Posted - 23 October 2006 : 23:50:27
It's a real shame Broadstreet cried off for the second year running. The Colts love nothing more than a picnic.

If you go down to the woods today.....

Refereeeeee

Don't mean to be inflammatory, but can I please insist that if we have to pay what is ostensibly a fair amount for food after the game, could we please see the return of the much-missed curly fries?

Thanks for your time...

I just called to say I love MMUUURRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH 3:-O

OT accepted ....it was only meant to be a bit of a giggle & team building wind up to one or two people & we didnt intend to insult any of our supporters. We apologise if it appeared any other way.
I also accept that a lot of people make it a very good club to be involved with..playing or socially & the benefits & surroundings are very much appreciated by all those involved on the playing side (from Vets to 1sts!).
The actions on Sat were also with all playing members in mind - it just happened that only 1sts & Vets at home. To be honest the Vets didnt get involved - they are a non-political party (also their personal campaign is for "post-match soup" as they cant chew food with their dentures!)
Old Tart Posted - 23 October 2006 : 20:28:44
Just thought it was only right to apologise to one and all if saturday's actions were taken out of context.

Special apologies to Legaulois (do have the bottle to admit if I got the wrong end of the stick)

Good Luck saturday Lads!
Macca Posted - 23 October 2006 : 14:12:47
I think the actions Saturday right or wrong, were taken somewhat out of context and not within the nature in which they were genuinely intended. There are things to resolve but lets move on!

By the way I can supply Kebabs! - cheap! (less that £2 per head!!!)

No I dont sell f***ing kebabs, Okay!
