Good point TB! Glover to coin a phrase losely associated with Mr B ... "do you know what a nemesis is?" then meet Max!!!!!!!
The Baptist Posted - 15 March 2007 : 14:00:19
I hope this Glover fellow is as good as he likes to tells us he is? If Macca dont get him Max will.By the way has he ever been formally introduced to Max? I dare say he will do well to manage 10 secs against Max let alone 10 mins!
Sat could be the day this pup Glover gets his wings!

"you know....because you need to know....alright my son"
Macca Posted - 15 March 2007 : 13:48:48
Bring it on!
Mind you the opposition will only need to last 11 mins to see Glover off!....but I am sure his mouth will not be as well oiled after that experience.

I'll believe it when I see him walk out onto the pitch talk about red rag to a bull........
glover Posted - 15 March 2007 : 11:05:29
yes will be there but i am playing football after school so might be a bit late and very tired

don't envy me because your jealous

Scrub that, I definitely need a tight head, are you man enough!
Ze German Posted - 15 March 2007 : 09:04:09
4ths might need a tight head! I'll let you know tonight!
oldcorn Posted - 14 March 2007 : 23:02:06
glover - to add to all these insults, it seems I have forgotten to pick you in any team this week! Never mind, I expect we'll find you a game somewhere!
glover Posted - 13 March 2007 : 17:14:45
tactics i see clever thinking from the old man

i play my game because i cant play any other way

quote:
glover Posted - 13 March 2007 : 12:29:43 i can take the hits to the heads
....DEBATABLE! obviously in your case mutiple heads make no difference!
....incidentally I only ever wear a scrum hat when you are on the same pitch (and then its only for 10 mins) to offer protection against your thick skull and intellectual wit.

empty vessels make most noise...too true

glover Posted - 13 March 2007 : 12:29:43
i wasn't wearing a scrum hat and i only wear one on special occasions it is not something i use week in week out i can take the hits to the heads most weeks. do you still wear your old-school scrum hat.

don't envy me because your jealous
Macca Posted - 13 March 2007 : 10:22:39
okay Glover I suppose you should have some congratulations ....from someone, somewhere! I always suspected that selector was odd what with his dog, stick, dark glasses (after dark), hunch and the name Glover but hey I just put it down to coincidence... obviously a High IQ was not a prerequiste of this trial but I did hear that you won a special award for being the player to leave the pitch the most with the lamest of excuses "my scrum hat is too tight".."I have left my chocolate teapot on the radiator" ......I also heard that you achieved a ground breaking first .....to last until the 11th minute!!! sadly though you didnt make it to the 12th!

if in doubt give it Glover (as long as it is within the first 10 mins!....and his scrum cap is not too tight!)

Never mind glover - Midlands are rubbish anyway! Well done for getting a divisional trial though.
