Seeing as how this is a bit empty, I thought I'd nip in before the season closed and start the forum off by congratulating Tigers and Stags on their performances at the NLD 7s this weekend.
The Stags, in their first 7s tournament, played extremely well, with a resounding victory over the only other 'B' side in their group 22-5, and running all three of the 'A' teams close, losing 10-0, 12-5 and 15-12 ... the last result against a very strong Kesteven side when were undefeated in the pool.
The Tigers played some great rugby, running in many tries and racking up plenty of bonus points. With a key win over arch-rivals Nottingham in the Semi they went on to batter Paviours in the final and retain the trophy.
All in all a very successful day out, and with the players, parents and coaches of each team supporting the others' games it was a great atmosphere as well.
Congratulations all round!

Well done guys, nice to avenge the narrow defeat to Nottingham in the NLD 15s competition. |
