Was supposed to be at the club today with 3 of our school teams playing in Schools County Cup finals only for them to be called off at lunch time due to being waterlogged.

Me and the kids were gutted as the weather was good all afternoon. I know the pitches take a major hammering but surely we should do our best to make them playable for such a prestigous event.

This event also brings money in over the bar and possibly interests some new faces.

Hmmm.... Obviously we need to keep the pitches in tiptop shape for the last few matches of the season!!

There was meant to be a Derbyshire U18 game in the evening I believe. I wonder if that was played. If any pitch needs a rest it is the back one.
