I know the Colts have their own section now, but thought this deserved a mention on the main section.
First away trip for Colts, some parents there with cars but we needed another car, so up to the mark came Adam Buxton. Always proud of his souped up motor, he was keen to show it off a bit. So, the directions were easy, take the M1 South to J22, head towards coalville, then B525 and A447 to MB. Sent him off early (12.45) just in case and gave him my phone number.
The 3 of them turned up at K.O. time, having gone North on M1. Only realised the numbers were increasing rather than decreasing when they got to J28. When they finally got South they had more problems. M B is only about 20 houses and 2 pubs, but they proceeded to circle it 5 times before arriving.
Oh yeah, Buxton had forgotten his shorts too! Nice one boys!! |
