Sooo close this week, but more disappointing was turning up at Haslams Serengeti after a trip to Beverley to find most Beests had deserted the post and gone home. To prove I was there,

I even brought a hat along! Thanks to Stu Cormack, the Reaper, Dovey, JT, Eldon, Lundy et al who ensured a warm welcome for an old Beest!
Never mind - see you boys on Saturday!

I was robbed!!

Apart from the fact that I didn't have my hands on the ball in their 22 (not including line outs), I should have got a try. Can't believe the flying bin man got two trys.

Gutted, ruined my weekend.

Why has Stu Cormack been pictured with the DOW hat on.....has Harry neglected his duty and deserted his duty!

Arch is paying out again...... 57-0 to the beests, with tries from Moore (2) The LegEnd Wigley (2), and 1 apiece from Lane, Gandolfo, Bates, Brummy and moi, and 6 conversions from Hutch and Budden.
Not a great game in the rain, but a league win....

Will need to be better next week against Cheltenham

Arch, -recheck the original post...
Kenty back in first team

Also, Jackal and Eldon promoted, so it looks like I may be back on match report duty!

As for number 5, what happened to number 4!!! and the weather didn't make a difference when wee played Moderns last year (105 - 0)

Ah, but let's remember who put Millsy in - a young flanker by the name of Archer, as I recall (who was in turn put through a huge hole by H, with all their back row, 9 and 10 hanging off him)... I think the spread this week will be 59-64 for the Beests - based on
1) home paddock
2) Brummy's return (automatic 3 tries), along with Kenty and H, who terrorised them last year
3) Last time we played them, they were gash, but their 1sts are a league above ours, and may have recruited to cement their place there
5) Weather forecast looking a bit iffy - never a help for the 'total rugby' of the Beests

P.S. Odds on a Mills try - 10-3
Odds on a Mills hat-trick - 2 jugs-1

Best of luck boys, looking forward to seeing how far I was wrong this week! Hope PB can find room for 'The Disney Club' in his match report...

Will Millsy get his next try...he has a good record against Walsall, cantering home from 22 yards last year! He was overshadowed by Mooro though
