For those of you who have not been training regularly over the summer - shame on you - you may like to know that there are 2 pre-season matches (at Derby) arranged for next week:
Wed 23rd 7.00 ish K.O. v Amber Valley
Thurs 24th 7.00 ish K.O. v Nottingham (1st team squad)

I guess if you have not been training, the only option available is the Wed match, so if you have not signed the list at the club and would like to take part, please let me or one of the coaches know.

Also, there is a tournament this Saturday, where we are fielding a 1st and 2nd team. Gentle training starts at 11.30, with games from 1.00, plus BBQ and post-match drinking. Again let me or one of the coaches know if you can make it.

Indeed! Norwithstanding Richard's shoddy performance, I thought the extremely young team playing against Amber Valley did very well to win by whatever the score was (5 tries to 2?). Roll on the proper games!

Could somebody please teach Rich Lucas how to run touch. It's a bad example to set when he spends more time talking to spectators than fulfilling his role...

It makes the other officials look sloppy with this poor attitude
