Good win Sat chaps!
...could put it down to the "experience" within the team with 8 well Over 35's - including for 3 scrums a front row with an average age of 41! - thank goodness for Sparkesy appearing like the shopkeeper from Mr Benn (u35's look it up !!!) young Cornfield and the guest replacement cameo's from our two colts....it at least kept the team average below 35 just!!!
.....what about Norm's reinactment of Rocky Balboa when being stroked on the hip during a particulary ruffty tufty maul - the red mist desended and the banter reached epic heights.
Why was Norm in the maul? well whilst performing emergency backrow work due to Mr Smith's 10 minute "rest" for an "over enthusiastic tap dance audition" when he (allegedly) inadvertantly mistook a head for the ball and tried to burst it with his studs.

Hey Gringo at the final whistle your kit looked as if had just come out of the Tumble drier, pristeen and bone dry! I only saw you for 5 mins - during the half time break! but N.G. I am totally gobsmacked I always thought Norm WAS A PROP

"you know....because you need to know....alright my son"

Mr Nerve gas may I just point out that NORM is not a prop okay!

Yes Norm I am old enough to know that on the basis of that performance the bells of retirement are ringing very f****** loudly!

Anyone want to buy a pair of boots - worn once, still clean!

Erm Mr Muttley, the only time I noticed you on the pitch was during that 10 minutes!!
I was also in the maul, as I hadn't been stamped on enough in the previous 3 years, so I thought I would earn some stripes

half man, half legend
