Can't fault your logic, although as coaches we never blame the players only ourselves. Hell do we beat ourselves up. I understand where you're coming from but you guys didn't have to tackle in the first half. That's not to say that training and pre-match warm ups couldn't be more physical. If approached seriously!!!
Sorry thats my #n#l side coming out!

| You're damn right there Groovy, backs warm up should consist of some gentle stretching, maybe a glass of port, before retiring to the changing room to discuss moves, and tactics. Leave all that physical nonsense to the meatheads |

Madness, I'm not convinced that either our tackling was that bad or that heavy impact warm-up will rectify it if it is. With only 16 players last week and one injured after just 3 minutes, it would have been a bummer if we'd had an injury pre-match!
Anyway, no reason why we cannot hit a few bags at home matches occasionally ( as long as everybody gets to the club at the meet time!)
By the way, just how many minutes did it take you to lose your membership card on Sunday?!?!
(P.S. I've got it) |

the yellow fixture card I gave you on Sunday!
Don't we play a little game of full contact each Thursday at the end of the session as a rule? Also last week the backs worked specifically on 1 on 1 situations. Hey, I'd be pleased to do an hour of tackling on a Thursday, but not sure too many others would!! |

OK oldcorn, you do the tackling we'll watch.
Well I will anyway and Pickos knees are not up to it, you might get a few lairy so and sos who want to join in and just in case I have a Tigers training programme to bring but it will need full comittment from all the players.
