I've heard some viscious rumours about the beests game yesterday...

is it true that Normski was injured in the warm up

Sounds like it was a good game even though we ended up on the wrong side of the result. I can't wait for the herd to stampede next week. i feel sorry for the opposition

True I,m afraid: Normski beest was attacked by a herd of crocodiles while he was at the water hole. About 4,786,501 crocs sudenly emerged from the water and carnage ensued for about 3 seconds. When the dust settled all you could see were mountains of dead crocs, but unfortunately Acting King beest tweeeeeeked a hamstring whilst crawling out from under one particularly large mountain of bodies.
After this excitement the game was quite dull really and we lost 23-17

Alas, it was true, and the family Norm will be dining on croc meat for years to come.....

the score was 22-17 to the home team, tries by Mills (no i'm not kidding you, it really was Joe Mills) and Louis "lord of the wings" Gandolfo

Back to Cheltenham this week as well! Whoever made the fixtures should be fined! The betting school is predicting another close run affair, Old Pates are a good outfit. However, the Beests have proved successful when wounded before, so the smart money is on a sneaky away win, potentially reversing the 5 point deficit incurred at 'Nham (as the locals call it) on Saturday.

I predict a MUUUUUURRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH riot

Let's not pass the buck, beest. Acting Chief Beest Norm said that he would write the report this week.
However:
Match report for Saturday 15th October 2005
After the interesting scenes whilst warming up, which were described in "The Serengeti Sun" under the headline: "Boss Beest Bags Big Breakfast", and in "The Serengeti Sketch" as "Crocodiles Face Extinction", the match was a relatively tame affair.
Shortly after Kick-off a good run by Lundy Beest led to Millsy Beest running into the post (after dropping the ball), and being awarded a try by the referee. (For he's a jolly good fellow......................). This was converted by Ratty Beest.
Shortly after wards an interception by Cheltenham led to there first try, which they could not convert. Ratty Beest then knocked over a penalty to make the score 10-5 to the Beests.
The beests then lost a scrum against the head and Cheltenham exploited the blind side to score again. The beests then lost a scrum against the head and Cheltenham exploited the blind side to score again. [Editor's Note: this is not a mistake]. 10-15 to Cheltenham.
The Beests were somewhat cross at this turn of events, so gave the ball to Louis Beest and told him to go and get a try, which, being an Obedient Beest he did. Ratty Beest converted. 17-15 to The Beests.
Unfortunately nobody told Cheltenham that we were suposed to win and they scored another try that they managed to convert, and despite some late pressure the Beests failed to score.
Final Score Cheltenham 22 Beests 17
All in all a bit of a wake -up call for The Beests: the first decent opposition that we met in the Merit Table coincided with one of our poorer performances. Losing Acting Head Beest before Kick-off didn'help, but does not really excuse the overall performance.
HOWEVER: When you can party like The Beeeeeeeeeeeests, who gives a f...........

Yes Yes I'll tell you what,I knew we were in trouble when I saw that the linesmen were provided with cable cars. They were good old boys down there but they only beat us because they scored more points I think if we had scored more we would have won. The old beesty heads played well, but were a bit quite on the way back a definate lack of singers. Anyone who can sing please give your names to that old wrinkley head Wildmoose and I am sure you will get a game. Hello
