The beests were back to winning ways with a 10 try demolition of Newark. The lord of the wings, Louis Gandolfo stole the show with a fine "pie and pea supper", after securing a memorable hat-trick during the game. Ably supported by a brace from Bonkers (i think), and 1 each from Buss, wiggers, Owen "gazelle" west, moi, and one other ( sorry, if you are reading this and know who scored, please correct me, and it wasn't Joe Mills), with 6 hutch conversions, and 1 from the Ratster, gave the Beests a final score of 64-12. A great show, but we will need to be better next week, when Leicester lions visit the Serengeti. Special mention to the front row of Matt Erwin, Dancin Pete, and Beest Debutant Dave Britton for a great show of hard Grunt up front.

thoughts from the sideline
norm returns from injury....beests win
or could it be it was a phantom hamstring and he's just picking his fixtures to maintain his selfish personal 100% record.
pickford backfrom oz for a brace.... thats just bonkers!
gandolfo could be the new lund, he just needs to work on his arm action - needs to swing from the shoulders more...think baboon
campbell...i've nothing to say to you. |

Quality result from the Beests. It's tough for me watching from the first team wing as Gandolfo and Hutchinson sneak towards my points total. Also jealous at how many times you lot get to touch the ball in a game.

| Look if nobody is claiming that try, I want it. That puts me to two (best personal scoring haul since 2001 try-fest season, also two). |
