So how about some of you guys forming a small group to help with the organisation of something? I have left 29 April (last week of season) free on the fixture list with a possible tour in mind.

First thing to do is ask players individually (i.e. when they do not just nod their heads because everyone else is) if they would be interested to gauge numbers and offer some candidate locations. (Some of the U17s who have played for us regularly could be asked too). Don't forget not all Colts players crave the same pleasures in life!!

Newcastle sounds a good location, Glasgow - a bit of a long journey? One place I have in mind is Scarborough, where my daughter is at Uni (she could organise some totty!). If the journey is not too long we could leave Friday afternoon, play a game on route (close to loaction) on Friday evening, do the usual stuff Friday night, no rugby on Saturday (surfing available, other entertainment also possible in Scarborough, play game on Sunday afternoon and travel home Sunday evening to complete the weekend in Derby (requiring only half a day off school / college / work).

So who will be on the tour committee then?

That sounds like my kind of tour colin, more emphisis on the non rugby part, i.e drinking and getting laid. I think that is a good idea as a working person within the team i feel a day of work is OK, and i know exams are important but im sure all the other guys at college could as well. What about somehwere with better nightlife tho like Brighton or Cardiff?

you're that well travelled these days snake you obviously know all the hot-spots! Hate to admit it, but the rugby might be a bit tough at Cardiff, and isn't Brighton full of gays?

scarborough sounds pretty gud! So we will get idea of numbers over next week and see if its worth doing with i think it will then decide on location and try and get some sort of rough price!

What a suprise the english bowing out to the migt of the welsh. Seems familiar to a little game bout Jan/Feb time, which was blamed on Johnny Wilkinson not playing, surely the same excuse cant be apparent this time.

29th April - see my original post. Most important is to get definite commitment from players (and any parents that would like to come) so that we know it is viable.
