Very disappointing to see the lack of support yesterday from the first team. After accusing the beests of creating a club within a club last season, it is clear to see why the beests did it.... If we are to be a club, then if the senior teams don't have a game, maybe they should be designated to travel with, or stay at home with another side, to show support, encourage young players, offer advice, or just be there, after all it doesn't happen too often. I'm sure that if they reach a cup final this year, they would like the other club players to support them...... Or maybe that is too idealistic!

Welcome back Ice Cold.
The Colts feel the same, after a good win away at Melton Mowbray a return to the CLUB was a little underdone. Only 4ths and Vets and some serious fans of DRFC were left!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, it makes me mad when these Johnny big potatos don't support those fiery wildebeest s.o.b's - when I was in the A-Team, I always supported the rest of my crew, suckas! Those beests shouldn't have to play 2nd banana to nobody! GRRRRRRR....
I pity the fool! I ain't gettin on no plane, fool! |

Valid points made by all - an aspiring club needs a good team spirit between all teams, especially as the Beests, Devs etc should provide the platform for players to go on to play for the firsts, but all too often they are treated a little offhandedly. I got the impression playing for the beests last year that we were like the amateur 'funboys' of the club, treated like a seperate club (rather than ourselves trying to create a club within a club). This needs to be sorted if you guys want to go on to achieve your playing goals (I think that was playing National League rugby...). Oh, and pick the best 18 players. Make of that what you will....
Sorry to get all serious on your ass, but that's a fact!
I just called to say I love MMUUURRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH 3:-O |

For gods sake stop winging you Beests. Anyone who's got any sense knows that the 2nds are even more important to the club. They are the future and a brilliant back-up, and if there were no 2nds, there wouldn't be much point having any 1sts. Your all part of the same "team" and all have the same goal.
(However, you did all look rather gay in your dresses)

- JD, you say such nice things, always elegantly phrased
Has anyone else noticed that JD has used the term 'spatula' more than once in postings and I was just wondering whether the normally quiet and shy spatula has some sort of special place in the JD household !!! - |
