A fine sunny, if cold, afternoon saw the herd grazing festivly on the Serengeti.
First on the board were Old N's with 3 points
Second on the board was Hutch with 3 points.
Third on the board was Hitch with 3 points.
Having got the boring bit out of the way: Headlights ran in a fine try to celebrate his relegation/promotion, but Hotch missed with the nudge.
A superb missed tackle by Bronwen Jenkinson allowed Old N's to cross the whitewash for for their last try (or was it their first?)of the game. They could not manage the conversion.
AND THEY COULDN'T MANAGE THE BEEEEEEEEEESTS
A great move covering the length of the plains saw Cocks score , with Hatch adding the two points. Ratty then attempted a 95 yard drop goal, which went so far over the top of the posts that the ref couldn't tell if it was a goal or not, so had to rule that it missed.
Shortly before half time (which may or may not have occurred at this point in the narrative), Brynmore Williams was unable to continue after damaging tendons in his shoulder and was replaced by fellow countryman Bringmore Beer. At Half time Dancing Pete replaced Door Matt.
Hetch added a further 3 points, before The Unstoppable Try Machine scored another 5 pointer. H*tch narrowly missed with the loft-conversion.
Then came the try of the game:
Picking up in his own in-goal area Wigless sidestepped out of trouble, passed to Sidelights, who sold a beautifull dummy (£5) and offloaded to Bringmore who made yards before slipping the ball inside to H^tch who flipped a quick pass to Ratty. Ratty made ground before passing to Yellow Card who took the ball over the half-way line and fed Acting Head Beest Mighty Mac, who promptly fell over: luckily The dancer was backing up and, taking the ball at pace, threw a forty yard pass to Slightly Less Rotund Mighty Mac, (who was that far behind play). He drove on and released Goodie Three Shoes who took the play into the oppositions 22. Joe "I have scored a Try" Mills took a well timed piss before popping the ball to Moore Beer. He sidestepped a desparing tackle, flipped the ball to Cocks, who sold another dummy (also £5) squeezeed the ball to the Bus who flicked it on to Pen Alty who scored under the posts.
Breathless stuff. (As was the conversion attempt).
Another try followed, but is not really worth mentioning, and the BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESTS retired (36-8 winners)to the festivities, which will probably be dealt with elsewhere.

dry river bed, no trys flowing for Millsy.

Am targeting Walsall away for try number 3.

Maybe then the backs will have learnt to pass inside, the forwards are not running in support for nothing.

Merry Christmas
