A quick scan of the Sheffield website shows halibeest has been playing hooker for the first team (what was he, 4th choice hooker at Derby!! sorry Paul). However, a recent report I found for the seconds said:

We welcomed into the side Matt Burgess, Luke Mason, Paul Archer, Jonny Bane, for the first time this season....
....Huge hits going in from both forwards, (Cooper, Archer, Adamo),

With all those huge hits, I bet he's struggling to lay finger to keyboard!!

Owdo!

What are you talking about Oldcorn?
I invented SMASH! (Along with Spirito, The Buss, PB)

Sorry I've been away so long - been on holiday since mid-Dec and have moved house too - now living in Shef, which is great, but not close enough to Derby!

On the rugby front, decided to call it a season cos Shef are poor at flair rugby and don't understand my skills - I'm being creatively stifled! No such thing as two away Barbara or Nudge Collect Jackpot here.

Staying fit for sevens season though - will now try to fill my Saturdays being a professional beest fan, maybe leading the warm-up with some stretchy stretchy stroo.

Love,
Arch

It was good to see The Arch back playing for the club. 80 minutes of game into 40 minutes of time, and he has lost his charm with the Ref's either!!

It's not often I agree with vapour deposition boy, but Halibeest was on fine form. I'm sure the ref. was glad he went off at half-time as were Paviors. Great vision on the pitch - not so sure about the lycra tops though Arch!

Thanks for your generous praise Millsy/Sat Nav...
You wouldn't have said that to big Linford in his heyday though, would you? A prime athlete needs to protect his muscles from over oscillation - just ask Loomesy! Also, my mum's worried that I might get the sniffles if I'm not wrapped up warm - my school never played rugby in the cold (prob cos Croydon's got it's own micro-climate, what with the smog and all).
On the ref point, yep - not lost it. To be fair the ref brought it on himself, he couldn't hang with Archy McBanter and my sidekick, Joe 'Chipper' Mills
Seriously though, absolutely a fee-paying pleasure to run out with you boys on Saturday, and score off 'Collect' - what do I need to do to become a full-time playing member of Derby again?
