Some of the Devs regulars recognised the magnitude of today's win. It was a performance full of guile and passion that was achieved by the regulars as much as the superstars that graced our ranks. I truly believe we'll go from strength to strength now and could well go unbeaten until the end of the season. Quality game today you kids - thanks from a very grateful old-timer.

How can that be?

We stop the rot of a 9 week losing streak, play some beautiful rugby in some what trying conditions, and Jonny Mab can’t be bother to honour the occasion with a simple yet flattering match report.

I feel filthy, just filthy!!

He has been seen over the derbyshire dales in his gimp mask, uttering "we won, we won, master"

No doubt Jon is just taking his time to make sure that his report truly does justice to this win and to the team as a whole.

He'll still be on cloud 9 as he poetically extolls the virtues of the 'Art of Rugby' ala Jon Mabbit which no doubt will soon be available in all good bookshops

Joe, you know you love it!

I can't wait for potentially the most emotionally charged match report of the season. I'm sure Mabbs will have us crying onto our keyboards soon enough with his recounting of triumph in adversity.

I am sure Jon will meet with triumph and disaster and treat each imposter just the same, continue to step off his right foot and wear ridiculous jumpers.
C'mon Mabbitt - I can't wait much longer.

My contribution to the teams performance, while significant is not what I was looking for. After Jon's bed time story, sorry rousing pre-game speech, I was hoping for something that did justice to a fantastic performance from all 20 Derby players.

Seocnd row buddy trying to stitch me up, what is the world coming up!!

So that is how it is then is it Mr Mabbitt. Any dissenters and they are moved on up out of the way!

What happened to freedom of speech, or timely match reports?!! The 1st team and Beests manage it, although you need an enigma machine to 'break' Robin's coded messages!

I don't know how Mabbinho will follow that reading pre-match Saturday!! Nothing like a bit of poetry to get everyone up for the game! Maybe a short-story this week John?
