Matlock 6 v 15 Derby.

Great result. Shame about the game.

Bring on Belper, whose scouts will have learnt nothing tonight.

Refereeeeee

Yes, just sent a short match report in, the game was not good enough and it's too late to do a longer one. Hopefully we will play like we can play in the final with a big Derby crowd cheering us on.

It's the result that counts......You always remember the winner, not how they played

I am fighting a battle to get the final on the same day as the other finals (7 May) at Amber Valley too. It had been argued by the organisers that some clubs would have Colts playing in their second or first team so it would be unfair to hold on the same date. Since Belper do not have other teams in the final and Derby do but have the numbers to cope I think they are giving in (as long as Amber Valley can accommodate).

Hopefully that will happen with a K.O. time between the 2nd and first team finals.

Well done lads - great result.
Why don't we play the Colts team in all 3 games, one after the other? They're only young lads, should be fit enough. That way the Beests and The First Team can cheer them on pint in hand!

We should have a poll...

A win is a win and the Colts are through to the Final, that's 2 teams through, would be good to make it 3 - would this be a first !

Keep the pressure on Colin, the Colts should play on the same day as the other Senior teams.

Would this make the 2005/6 Seniors season as mythical as an Unicorn? What do you say Colin?

Now we all know that "a" becomes "an" when the noun starts with a Vowel.... but "an unicorn" doesn't sound right.

I agree, but hey....

I think an hotel sounds stupid too, technically correct , but is now grammatically acceptable to say "a" hotel.
