Can people spread the word that there will be a players meeting this Thursday 7th December after training (approx 8.45pm).
If anyone has issues/topics to be discussed you have several options
1) turn up to discuss them
2) speak to myself or Flower when you see us down the club
3) post them on here and we'll see if they deserve a mention
4) ...

| Make sure you are there - we need to discuss upcoming social events as well as rugby including the next gentleman's evening - hopefully the next ones will be under 30! |

There were a couple of actions arising from the fantastic turnout last night, and we would like to open them out to a few more before we feedback to the management committee:
1) Players meals - the general moan is about paying for poor quality food. Please provide SENSIBLE menu suggestions to me or the Jackal or post them on here. We will pick the best ones and ask Haslams what their thoughts are. Suggestions so far:
Cottage Pie
Spaghetti Bolognaise
Chilli
Less curried items
Meat baguettes
Darn of salmon (that was from Jamo and has to go into the not sensible pile)
2) Social events
a) It was recommended from the floor that we need to reinstate the regular themed evenings. Upcoming dates for your diary are:
23rd December - Christmas Theme and Christmas Fancy Dress
6th Jan - Colts Theme night and possible party night, the theme will be revelealed early next week to give you time to prepare
Other dates for vets, devs, 1sts are to follow
b) There will be a poker night, another band night and a race night in the new year, dates tbc.
c) A suggestion was made to have a "mens dinner", possibly with a comedian, at the club on a saturday night after the match - what do people think?
d) The ball - there was a strong feeling amongst the hoardes that players need to attend the end of season ball. If we start getting firm responses from people now we can set up some kind of savings scheme so that it isn't such a big amount to pay at once. There is a meeting next week to sort out the venue etc and the price will be announced shortly after christmas.

I agree with the ball is something i would like to know A.S.A.P.
when is the poker night.
