So in their respective leagues:
Derby 1st XV - 2nd
Beests - 3rd
Devs - 1st
Meisters - 1st
Vets - 2nd

Not sure about the Colts, but all teams in "podium" positions - not bad eh?

I was told by the organiser the leagues are not structured!! In practice, league 1 is top, 2 and 3 are about the same and 4 is probably slightly weaker (although the 4ths and Vets may have something to say about that). They would be mcuh better making a clearer distinction (with sides less likely to call off in the higher leagues) or be regionalised to avoid trips like Spalding away (no doubt they will call of the return)!

great stats Norm. How is your try fest coming along this season?

Sorry to inform you but Buss notched another this week, lingering on the left wing at Dudley. In forty minutes of action he only took the knee once but didn't need treatment. I can sense a comeback on the cards, the ever youthful Buss!!!

Cresswell Coaches is definitely the man of the season: first he invented the "Bus Pass", and yesterday he was seen sitting out the first half in the "dugout". This has now been rechristened the "Bus Shelter".
