What a great day. Having thought we were going home with the wooden spoon the lads pulled together and put on a great display (given that most of the lads havent played 7's before!). The lads worked for each other and showed good physical and mental stength. Well done Derby Colts.

Yep, I must confess I was not alone. Also I must point out that the tight jeans did not disrupt my shouting of support they just made my voice slightly higher pitched than normal. Actually I do believe my shouting of support (and telling Glover to move his fat ass) was the main reason behind the 'Armageddon' try in the final actually going over the line!!!

In the first game against Hull Ionians one of thier supporters told me to be quiet. Ouch!

Well, he was complaining that his team mate had been gouged in the face by a Derby boot. I informed him that it sometimes happens in rugby and maybe he should resort to playing football if he didnt like it. Thats when he told me to be quiet. I then reminded him that it was a friendly competition and he should relax and enjoy himself and at that I point I turned to see you doing a forward roll under the posts after scoring a try. So I pointed to you and informed him that we were enjoying ourselves. Then they went and beat us 40-7 Doh!

Apologies for getting Welshy and Glover mixed up must have been all the excitement, that said Glover still has a fat ass. I am taking on board Macca's advice and my next posting on the forum will contain much more abuse specifically on Glover's IQ and spelliung!

Macca, you are right with regards to the 'gouging'. I realise it is 'raking' with the boot also think it may have been my lad but I didn't see it.....officer!

Hey RLD what a great idea for a poll!! but I think it would need a bit more fat on the bones (rather like someone we know) to be worth a poll slot that would do justice to such a rising star
