What do you suggest ? - there were comments displayed on the homepage for about 2 weeks when the Forum came online and then there's been comments in both the Club News and Minis & Juniors News page telling people about the Forum. In the Club News page there's still a heading at the top of all the News items that mentions the new Online Forum and tells people to look at the 18th July'05 Club News entry for more details.

I'm guessing that as the season gets under way then more people will join in and add comments in the Forum. So far we have 33 forum members since it came online 6 weeks ago and I'm sure that this will grow (hopefully !!! )

C5W, as webmaster says it has been advertised for weeks on the website, and if people had been online to check out the events of the summer, they too would have seen it.
Shall we send you a personal email next time anything anywhere happens?

I agree with the comments above - I found the forum by reading the website, and it certainly wasn't hard.

On the other hand, would it be feasible to have an opt-in mailing list for the website to allow people to receive notices of major updates and/or changes to the site?
That way more people will get to know about "stuff" - even those who don't get time to visit as regularly as they might wish to.

In answer to the question that titles this thread, though:
You didn't read the website properly, nor frequently enough!

Without ruling out a future opt-in mailing list, at the moment there are only 3 key webpages that people need to initially read to see what changes / updates have been made to the website since their last visit to the website. These are ....

Website Updates page
Club News page
Minis & Juniors News page

All of the entries on these 3 pages are 'date stamped' so that visitors can see what's been updated / added / changed.

Hope the above helps

200 Club payments are now due for the season (just a reminder for those of us who forget to look in Club News)

£10 per season what a bargain
