Mildred was a 93 year old woman who was particularly dispondent over the recent death of her husband Earl. She decided to kill herself and join him in death.
Thinking that it would be best to just get it over with quickly, she took out Earl's old army revolver and made the decision to shoot herself in the heart as it was already so badly broken.
Not wanting to miss the vital organ, become a vegetable and burden someone, she insisted on ringing the doctor's office and asked for the hearts precise location.
"On a woman" the doctor said "It would be just below your left breast"
Later that nite mildred was rushed to hospital with a gunshot wound to the Knee.
