Who are the official team players in the 1st team this season? And are there are pre-season warm-up games?
Any chance of the seniors profiles being updated on the website Brian?

Don't know yet, assume so, yes
I need to speak with the Senior Coaching side re the Players, I've listed the Midlands Two fixtures for the 1st XV (waiting for the other Derby RFC sides at the moment) and within the Club News page I've mentioned in the 19th July entry that as soon as I know when the 'warm up' games will be I'll then get them onto the website - hopefully I'll get this info soon as the first 'proper' 1st XV league game is only about 6 weeks away !!!
Yes the Senior Players profiles need to be updated and hopefully I'll be able to ask the Senior sides captains or team managers to take this on and get me the info.

| I have just seen the Wildebeest fixtures for next season.. we have entered into the National clubs 2nd xv league, against the likes of Cheltenham, Nuneaton, Rugby, Stourbridge, Dudley KW,Leicester Lions and Old Patesians, all of whom play at level 4 or above. Some of these fixtures will be as hard if not harder than the 1st XV fixtures |

That sounds just like the challenge that the Wildebeests need after a terrific 2004/05 season. You're raising the bar so to speak, though hopefully not too high that we'll miss the conversion kicks - bring on the Jackal !!!
Good luck Norm to you and the team in this league.
By all means email me the Fixtures and I'll get them onto the Seniors Fixtures page.

Gordon Roulinson has the confirmed fixtures, the list I have was a provisional, and needed some amendments, including 2 wednesday night games against Nuneaton |

Old Patesians is my old man's old club, so may have to make the effort to come training so I might have the opportunity to be involved in dishing out some Wildebeest learnin'.
Won't be training before mid-September though, as I'm doing a half-ironman triathlon then.
